href="http://stopsleepingdisorders.com/">sleeping disorders today seems to be trendy or so to speak. In a recent article of New York Times titled: married but sleeping alone BRUCE FEILER goes into more details with famous celebrities sleeping alone and some of the causes that makes couples to sleep in separate rooms.

When once the reasons of sleeping in a separate room from your partner were: heavy and disturbing snoring or just simply being mad with your partner today the causes seem to extend in the technological field, jumping from TV, Radio to iPhone and partner following Twitter or checking his Facebook before going to bed and perhaps keeping on till late night. The light of the partners laptop or iPhone during night indeed can be disturbing, as the light and voice of TV or Radio.

Healthy Living, a division of Yahoo Inc. talks about this same matter in an article titled more couples sleeping apart: is this healthy? and I can honestly see where the question comes from. With our busy work schedule we have less and less time to spend with our partner, the perfect moment are those nights were we can cuddle with our partner under the sheets, talk about our stressful (or pleasant) day at work. It is the perfect time to communicate with our partner and not become complete strangers. So really, is it healthy for your relationship to sleep in separate rooms? Do you really feel the need to get disconnected from your partner even in those few hours before bed time?

I guess the real reasons for sleeping in separate rooms from your partner are now becoming just excuses, excuses that make someone to feel “trendy”, the latest survey made from the National Sleep Foundation in 2005 reported that 1 out of 4 couples sleep in separate rooms, and similar results were shown for studies in England and Japan, all technologically well developed countries.

If being trendy means that I have to sleep in a separate room from my partner, then I will make sure not to get married at all and get a dog instead, even tho that would not be fair even to an animal to use him just for my selfish needs of not being alone in this world.

Sleep Apnea Pillow – Prevent Snoring Pillow

Snore No More

apnea pillow

snoring pillow

stop snoring
<guid

The block of the airways due to bad sleeping position is one of the causes of sleeping disorders as I mentioned on a earlier post.

As our airways are blocked because of the wrongly posture during the sleep we start snoring (or our partner does), thing which is quiet disturbing and leaves our partner with sleepless nights. In fact, that are many couples that sleep in separate rooms because of the partners snore (now, if they both snored perhaps they could have passed through..just kidding). Truth is tho all that is irritating, however it not longer has to be, with this anti-snoring pillow that I will review bellow all those nights sleeping alone because of your partner can end.

SnoreZz pillow is an orthopedic patent-pending pillow will ensure that your neck and head are always aligned keeping your jaw forward and making sure the airways are always open, thing which should stop snoring or at least decrease/prevent snoring.

There are 3 pillow sizes of this anti snoring pillow;

I recommend SnoreZz pillow to prevent snoring and sleeping disorders to yourself and your partner. Think of this sleep apnea pillow as a cute gift idea for your partner, help your partner to prevent snoring and finally sleep together.

Using a Snoring Mouth Guard to Stop Snoring

Snore No More
<guid

When our body is too tired and over relaxes can happen that the tongue and the jaw collapse and this causes to block the airways and limits the flow of oxygen that our body needs.

With the relaxed muscles while the sleeping person breaths the ovula and muscles vibrate, which causes the noise of snoring. If this is your case, the perfect solution is a snoring mouth guard to stop snoring.

<object

What a mouth guard does is ensures that our teeth and tongue keep the proper position, thus it keeps our mouth posture in the perfect position and ensures that the air channels are free and our breathing is natural and not disturbed from collapsed jaw.

To find the perfect mouth guard is not an easy task at all as each person has a different mouth form and teeth form and there can’t be a “universal” product that would guarantee the solution for every time of mouth. For a mouthpiece it is needed that the snoring mouth guard device to perfectly match for your mouth, to be formed on your teeth (especially if you don’t have well aligned teeth). However the good part is that such devices cost something between $15-$40 and in most occasions you can get a pack of 3 solutions for even $60 (such as mouth piece device, anto snoring meds and a handy book with tips to stop snoring), but still, that doesn’t mean we should go and throw out money, what we need is a solution.

In similar cases it is advised that you consult with your doctor first as the mouth guards should be formed to your teeth and mouth, however if you have already consulted your doctor you could shop for a mouth guard and <a

It is well known that men suffer more often from snoring then women because of the air passage in their throats is narrower than women’s air passages. A simple change of position can stop snoring, or as alternative you could use a snoring pillow.

Lose weight, even 10% of your current weight

Overweight is one of the reasons that causes snoring disorders as overweight people tend to have bulky neck tissues. Losing just a modest amount of weight can be your snoring remedy.

Nasal strips as snoring remedy

Studies show that nasal strips can be of great help for people that have snoring problems, however it does provide only a temporary relief from congestion. Another handy tip would be to keep your nasal passages clear before going to bed.

Quit smoking

Smokers have high chances to suffer snoring as smoke causes airways to be blocked by irritating the membranes in the nose and throat.

Have a tip to add on how to stop snoring? Feel free to leave a comment bellow and help other fellows that have the same problem to identify his causes and resolve the problem.

Causes of Sleeping Problems

Snore No More

insomnia causes

snoring causes
<guid

Fact is that millions of American each year suffer from sleeping disorders; these disorders without any doubt will interfere with our work, social life and activities, driving and all the other daily routine functions that we usually do every day.

Doctors have described/diagnosed over 70 sleep disorders; most of which can be self managed effectively and treated once they have been diagnosed, so we can rely on our self-treatment of our own sleeping disorders. For other methods however, we do need to consult a doctor and follow our doctors specific instruction’s and most importantly to never combine drugs prescribed by our doctor with alcohol.

Causes of Sleeping Disorders

Sleeping disorders and insomnia can be caused for different reasons like;

Stress for a longer period that doesn’t give you peace in mind

A change in time zones during a travel, feeling disorientated and our body and mind is not yet adapted to the new zone.

Poor sleep schedule and bad bedtime habits

Envoirnmental; use of alcohol for example

Physical; such as ulcer or stomach acids

Medical or health related reasons that prevents you to sleep or wakes you up chronically for a longer period of days

Depression and anxiety disorders

Apnea and snoring disorders

Overweight

As we can see from the above list, aside the cause of time zone changes that will get in order as soon as our body gets adapted to the new time zone and sleeping hours and the health reasons, for most of the other reasons of the list we can rely on self treatment and improve our sleeping schedule, wake up the next morning fresh and face the day with more energy and a better smile on our face.
