Causes of Sleeping Problems
What are the causes of sleeping disorders and how can we really deal with that? Fact is that millions of American each year suffer from sleeping disorders; these disorders without any doubt will interfere with our work, social life and activities, driving and all the other daily routine functions that we usually do every day.
Doctors have described/diagnosed over 70 sleep disorders; most of which can be self managed effectively and treated once they have been diagnosed, so we can rely on our self-treatment of our own sleeping disorders. For other methods however, we do need to consult a doctor and follow our doctors specific instruction’s and most importantly to never combine drugs prescribed by our doctor with alcohol.
Causes of Sleeping Disorders
Sleeping disorders and insomnia can be caused for different reasons like;
- Stress for a longer period that doesn’t give you peace in mind
- A change in time zones during a travel, feeling disorientated and our body and mind is not yet adapted to the new zone.
- Poor sleep schedule and bad bedtime habits
- Envoirnmental; use of alcohol for example
- Physical; such as ulcer or stomach acids
- Medical or health related reasons that prevents you to sleep or wakes you up chronically for a longer period of days
- Depression and anxiety disorders
- Apnea and snoring disorders
- Overweight
As we can see from the above list, aside the cause of time zone changes that will get in order as soon as our body gets adapted to the new time zone and sleeping hours and the health reasons, for most of the other reasons of the list we can rely on self treatment and improve our sleeping schedule, wake up the next morning fresh and face the day with more energy and a better smile on our face.
